The Forks of the Wabash Pioneer Festival in Huntington, Indiana, returns on Sept. 28 and 29, 2013, for a 38th year of transporting visitors to a simpler time.
Guests can expect to encounter re-enactors living the lifestyle of Hoosier pioneers, military units conducting drills on foot and on horseback, traders hawking their wares, and meals being prepared over open fires.
Elsewhere on the grounds, you’ll find quality crafts and antiques; displays of antique engines, tractors, motorcars and bicycles; old-fashioned games for the younguns; and food and entertainment to please any taste.
